Webthesurfi Rugs Webdesign are the keywords that we are currently competing to top in the Google SERPs. Clairemont Design spearheaded this contest, which started last middle of March and will end in the 2nd week of April.

This is my very first SEO contest, and I really feel its thrill. My original intention why I joined, is to drive new traffic to my main site. Winning is not really my aim because truthfully, I still have a lot of things to learn about search engine optimization.

When I joined this contest, I was actually thinking that I would learn a lot about SEO since I will do my best to at least put my entry in a higher rank. Thus, it will drive me to be more resourceful and find things that I don't know about.

At this very moment, I can already tell how those 4 entries made their way to the top. And it's very obvious that their efforts are much larger than mine, though I believe that I also did a tremendous job so that my entry won't end up in the bottom list.

One thing I learned about being part in this contest is, if you are wise enough, you can actually mimic the strategy of the other contestants. This, is because of the web's transparency.

A contestant who is wondering why this certain entry is constantly topping the SERP, would eventually do some analysis and will pull out resources to diagnose it. After the nosing around, if you are really keen to details, before you know it, you already discovered their secrets.

For the first quarter of this year, there are only 3 keywords that won't get easily erased from my mind...webthesurfi rugs webdesign.

Please help me increase my SERP rank...click, click, click...thanks, thanks, thanks...hehehe...

When the risk addicting tendencies are not inhibited, another type of wrinkle and drool provoking behaviour has a high probability to occur.   The probability is actually very high that this assumption is not just a mere theory.

This has actually been the subject of nonsense studies and if you want to fool around, then you are always free to laugh your ass off.  Hehehehe.  This nonsense post is still inspired by Mindless Self Indulgence’s The Retard Song.

After their hilarious body massage and farting session at Nua Thai, the Askato Trio proceeded to their next destination.

It was in Seattle’s Best located at The Terraces, Ayala Center.  Here are photos to back up their bloody alibis.

There were just a few people when we came in around one in the morning.

Here’s a very artistic, very professionally made fan video trailer of New Moon. If not because I’m telling you here that it’s a fan-made you would definitely believe that it’s the official trailer of the movie. Though, there are actually clips that didn’t fit in at the end of the video(like the girl who is jumping in the cliff wearing a long, white dress). Bella is not wearing a dress when she jumped off the cliff in book 2 of Twilight. I hope you’ll enjoy watching. I’m quite excited for New Moon this coming November. Hehehe. Jia You!!

I already saw photos of people who underwent this kind of artistic stuff eons of years ago.  I happened to watch Jessica Soho’s documentary show yesterday, and I noticed that even Pinoys are into this.  I have a thread about this in my forum and the people’s first impression is “YUCK”.

Honestly, I really admire the courage of these mortals who modified their bodies for the sake of art.  I mean the pain must be enough to prove to everyone else that they are serious with their craft.  But people have lots of speculations, like they do it just to catch attention.  Some would even say that these kind of people have low self esteems and doing bizarre things to themselves is their way of uplifting their egos.

Whatever, I still find skin carving way too cool, but it’s really dangerous especially if you will get infections and other serious health problems as the aftermath.

NBI Special Defective Agents HUHU1 and HUHU2 went to La Marea yesterday to chill out.  They were disturbed by Team Darwino’s mobs while they were working at their hide out.  HUHU2 treated HUHU1 a warm brownie cup.  HUHU2 was telling HUHU1 that La Marea’s warm brownie cup is very delectable, but HUHU1 can’t agree after tasting it.

The warm brownie cup which is for HUHU1’s estimation very expensive tastes like Ngohiong’s EXpress FOBI(Fried or Baked Ice Cream).  HUHU1 wanted to chill at that place again but won’t be eating any warm brownie cups.

A warm brownie cup tastes like champorado minus the vanilla ice cream

It’s already 3:56am, and I just got home with Manash and Jun2x from Grill Avenue. Manash has been puking shamelessly the moment we went out. She puked at the side of the street, at the taxi window, and in front of our house. We have to aid and support her balance while we walked her out from that place because she’s bloody drunk.

We started drinking beer the moment we arrived at Grill Avenue with a live show band entertaining the night crowd. Titah Binky was there along with her friends and her brother. I haven’t drank beer for a while because I stick to my promise to myself that I would only patronize hard drinks. But I got no choice that time because I had to compromise for the sake of camaraderie.

We were enjoying the entertainment on stage since one of the band’s vox was really a performer. At around 11pm Wasted signed off since she still has to wake up early because of work. But we didn’t believe her because her EX showed up there wearin a green shirt that matched the color of hers. It’s really too obvious. Viktor excused himself first and a few minutes later Wasted bid goodbye from the group. Hehehe. We are sooo green minded.

At around 12am or 1am I guess, Jun2x arrived. Manash and Titah Binky were already dancing beside our table. I can tell that Manash was already tipsy. My stomach already ached because of the heavy density of the beer and I had to pass. At around 1:30 or 2:00am I guess, Titah Binky and her friends signed off. She has to go home early because she’s taking medication for her gallstones problem.

When we finished our beer, we ordered margarita. Manash was already very tipsy and has been dancing crazily. Jun2x joined her later. The two were both tipsy already and I was laughing my heart out because Manash was obviously drunk and had caught attention from the crowds in another tables. We finished our margarita at around 3am after she finished her live show presentation starred by those brave enough people who were amply drunk to go dirty dancing with her. Hahahaha. Manash is really a spectacle when she’s drunk. Hehehe. Jia you, Jia you Manash!

Anyways, earlier that evening, we went to Ayala with Roni babe to watch the fireworks presentation. Unfortunately, we were at the wrong side of the mall. We didn’t able to see that fucking fireworks. Grrrr! We just hang out at Shakeys and stuffed ourselves with pizza, fried chicken, and a fucking pitcher of “not cold” iced tea. The mall was actually jam packed with people that’s why we got no other choice, but to eat at that friggin’ resto. Grrrrr.

I guess I need to salute now. My head is bloody heavy, my fingers already numb…and I already see that big-eyed girl and those long, black fuckin’ of a hair…So long America!!!! Hehehehe…

I dunno what happened.  I’ve been busy for a few weeks and laid low in checking my site’s stats.  I just found out yesterday that this site has been removed from google’s search results list.  I found this by keying in my major keyword “empressofdrac“.  I used to google my site using that keyword and my main page always tops the results list, but yesterday, it’s the other way around.  I can’t find my site even in the last pages of the results list.  Instead it’s my forum which is hosted freely in forumer.com on the top of the result page.

I googled to check what happened.  I found out that google will remove your site if you put illegal stuff in there or when you do some dirty tricks to raise your page’s popularity.  But I did none of the above.

I checked my all in one SEO plug in set up and what I noticed is all the no index options are checked.  But I don’t think this has something to do with it.  The no index there are just for my categories, archives, and tag archives.  This is really a mystery to me.  I guess I need further investigation about this.  Tsk…tsk…tsk.

They are not online criminals nor system hackers, but they will surely cause havoc in your system of thoughts as they will dissect the most titillating spots about sex, pornography, incest, STDs...everything sex related.

No inhibitions, no second thoughts, no non-sense...just pure and mature discussion of things that are mostly considered taboo by the common folks. Curious lurkers are welcome to comment, and nasty suggestions will always be considered. LoL!

The Cebu Bloggers Society headed by Kevin Ray N. Chua met Nick of FilipinoVoices.com
yesterday, November 22, 2008 at Bo’s Cafe, Ayala around four in the afternoon.  FilipinoVoices.com is a collaborative blog of Filipino bloggers which focuses on News, Politics, and Social Commentary.

The main agenda of the meet-up was to discuss the participation of Cebu bloggers in terms of citizen journalism which focuses on Political and Social blogging.  Through this, a movement can be formed where local based bloggers could become reliable sources when it comes to political and social awareness.

Here is an excerpt from the copy of  Overview and Responsibilities sheet handed by Nick to us during the meet up.

The bloggers will be our correspondents, playing an important role in providing key insight, information, and analysis where they will most likely be informed that other bloggers and writers from outside of the area.

Today is the beginning of The Cebu Bloggers’ participation in a grassroot movement that will take back our voice, and finally give back to the people, the power that is rightly theirs.

Thus The Cebu bloggers will be crucial so that our readers will have a more updated, more in depth look on the issues that are facing Cebu specifically.  Opinions, views, and analysis coming from not outside, but those who live and breathe Mindanao..

The CBS members who were present during the meeting are Sinjin, X, Empress, Vanjahn, Rodel, Atenean, and Clarence joined in later on.  For those bloggers who are interested to become contributors to FilipinoVoices.com you can email to Nick the following details:

1. Preferred Username and Password(for login purposes)
2. Avatar Photo(200×200)
3. Display Name(posted with your articles)
4. A blurb of yourself(a brief description that will be at th end of your every post)
5. An in depth description of yourself to be featured on the About page so that readers will know more about you.

It was one of those several trips that I enjoyed a lot. It’s not because of any grandeur or anything fantastic. It’s just because this trip in particular, though not stress-free, made me feel good about myself.

When I arrived at the terminal, I know that he’s already there.  I was not sure how long, but I know that his eyes were only searching for me among the arriving crowds.  Well, that’s what my instinct told me.

It’s actually a great feeling that once in a while you give yourself a chance to escape from the tedious bustles of the city and relax in the comforting lull of the suburban.  And I just realized that it’s really not that bad to lie every now and then.   I mean lying sometimes can make things more bearable.  But this doesn’t mean that I’m advising anyone to do a such.

Anyways, I spent my weekend critiquing NBA 2K9 and comparing it to the previous releases.  Though I rarely play such kind of PC game, but I’m always a keen observer.  After the day that I arrived, we went to the theater and watched Madagascar 2 and had our lunch at KFC.  And late in the afternoon, I accompanied him with his friends to play basketball.  During the evening, we had our late dinner at Payag.  And their I had my very first try of their special halu-halo.

Payag is actually a restaurant inside a two-storey structure.  It is a preserved old house that was instyle during the Spanish era.  The place has a very historical ambiance with antique-like wooden tables and chairs and low lightings.  It was like you’re stepping to another era once you entered their guarded door.  Chicken is actually their specialty.  And you should not miss their special halu-halo which is way cheaper than Chowking’s, but yummier.

Payag’s halu-halo is served in a coconut shell with all its meat on it and its juice is served along with it.  I was quite amazed because I know it would cause more when it’s served here in Cebu.  There’s really an advantage in living in a suburban area compared to living in the city.

WARNING: There are lots of spoilers in this post.  If you haven’t read the Twilight series yet and has a plan to read them, then, don’t read this post.

You might be wondering who the Cullens are.  If you have already read the Twilight series, then they might be very familiar.  The Cullens is a family of “cold-blooded” vampires in Stephenie Meyer’s books.  But they are no ordinary vamps you have read in old and boring bloodsucker legends.  They are modern day vampires.  They don’t explode and turn into ashes when hit by the sunlight.  They don’t drink human bloods.  They don’t sleep in bloody coffins.  They don’t have long and sharp fangs.  They don’t wear black robes.  All in all, they don’t do those pathetic things you used to know about vampires.

The Cullen family is headed by Dr. Carlisle, the handsome doctor who managed to co-exist with mortals in his three hundred years of existence; Esmee, the suicide victim who has been given the chance to a life of immortality; Jasper, the one who can control emotions and is the best fighter in the family; Alice, the one who has the gift to see the future; Rosalie, the most beautiful vampire according to Bella; Emmett, he is Rosalie’s lover; Edward, the ninety year old plus vampire who fell in love with a human and has the power to read minds, and later on Bella, the ordinary teen-ager who accepted her destiny to live the life as one of the immortal ones.  These modern day vampire characters who graced the pages of Stephenie Meyer’s books became the keys to the series phenomenal success.  And because they are modern-day characters they drive the conventional and the hippest cars in town.  Let’s start with Isabella Swan’s(Bella) 1953 Chevrolet Pickup Truck.
This vehicle was given by her father(Charlie).  This was originally owned by Billy Black, Jacob Black’s father.  Anyways, Jacob is Bella’s best friend.  This is the truck she used in going to her new school after she decided to continue her high school study in Forks.   Forks, Washington is actually the main setting of all Twilight Saga Series.  Next is Edward’s Volvo, the silver S60R.

This is the car he used from book 1 to book 3.  I noticed that this is not mentioned in book 4.  Next is Rosalie’s BMW M3 convertible.

Next is Carlisle’s Mercedes S55 AMG.

This is the vehicle he uses at work.  Next is Emmett’s Jeep Wrangler.

Next is Edward’s “special occasion” car, the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish.

This is the car he used when he took Bella to the Prom in book 1.  Next is Alice’s Porsche 911 Turbo.

This yellow porshe became Alice’s obsession when she and Bella went to Italy.  Edward gave this to her as a special gift in exchange for her service in “baby-sitting” Bella.  Next is Bella’s Mercedes S600 Guard.

This is the pre-wedding car Edward gave to Bella in book4.  Stephenie Meyer called this in the book as Mercedes Guardian.  This is the car that awed the two youngsters in the gasoline station when Bella stopped there.  They assumed that she must be something since she’s driving a car that is used by the VIPs who are in need of high security.  They don’t even think that this kind of vehicle has been released already in the market.  They were too awed that they asked Bella’s permission to take a few snapshots of it so that their friends would believe them that that kind of car did really exist.  And last but not the least is another Bella’s car.  It is her ‘after’ car, a Ferrari F430.

This is Edward’s post-wedding gift to her.  She used this car in the middle and last parts of book 4.  Bella is actually more exciting and more enticing in character in book 4.  Breaking Dawn is definitely the the best book in the series.

Twilight(book 1) the movie will be shown here in PI this December.  The US premier will be on 11th of November.  New Moon(book 2) will also be in big screens by 2010.  Eclipse(book 3) and Breaking Dawn(book 4) would definitely follow.  I hope Midnight Sun(book 5) will be published soon.  I can’t wait to read Edward Cullen’s side of the story.

Yes, I did cast my vote for him in a mock poll during the US Election Watch 2008 at SM Atrium this morning. The Cebu Bloggers Society was invited by the US ambassador to the Philippines to attend the event. The venue was full of television screens that monitor the 2008 US Presidential Election.

Barack Obama is definitely the leading presidential candidate in almost all states. And as of the writing of this post it seems that victory is on the democrats side. Mccain, the republican candidate must brace himself well to accept defeat.

The US Election Watch 2008 was headed by Paul Jones, the U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission. The event were attended by different private sector representatives, media, americans, and a few prominent local personalities. Among these prominent personalities are local politicians like Mayor Jonas Cortes of Mandaue City, Rep. Raul Del Mar, and Rep. Neressa Soon Ruiz(attired in a maong mini-skirt with a glamorous hairdo). There were also local media reporters who covered the event. They were Rico Lucena of ABS-CBN Cebu and Bobby Nalzaro of GMA 7.

Of course, the group didn’t let the event pass without taking the opportunity to have our pictures taken with the above mentioned people. The event also has overflowing supply of american foods from generous sponsors.

Anyways, it would only take you a few seconds to cast your vote in their automated voting system process. This, I discovered when I casted my vote in their mock poll area. It is a far cry from our current voting process here in PI that is done manually.

On the other hand, I’m a little disappointed that I have to leave the event by 12 noon because of work.

The Cebu Bloggers Society members were invited by Jun Tariman to guest his tech radio segment program.  This was aired thru DYAB Cebu at 3:00pm to 3:30 pm, November 2, 2008, Sunday.  The 30-minute interview were attended by Clarence of DahongLaya.Com, Kevin of MarRoxas2010.Blogspot.com, Zeniamai of Zeniamai.Wordpress.Com, Empress of EmpressOfDrac.Com, X of ObnoxiousQueer.Com, and Sinjin of Sinjin.Ph.

The special radio segment’s main topic is about blogging.  Before the formal interview, the members introduced themselves to the listeners and provided quick background to their respective blogsites.  After that, Kevin formally introduced the Cebu Bloggers Society group to the listeners.

Mr. Tariman began the interview by asking the group when does blogging started.  It was then followed by series of discussions about how to earn money thru blogging, how to increase blogsite traffic, the role of Search Engine Optimization in promoting your blog, popular money transfer services you should use to claim your blogsite’s income, the importance of blogging in history, best blog platforms to use, and of course the basic steps on how to create a blog.

The 30-minute interview was also broadcast internationally thru live webcast.

N.B.: More photos will be posted later.

The Digital Filipino Club successfully held this event at Teatro Casino in Waterfront, Cebu last 22nd of October. This Fellowship was organized by Miss Janette Toral and sponsored by PAGCOR. The event was crowded by online-affiliated people and was even made livelier by the present of the Cebu Bloggers Society members who became the event’s center of attraction because of their well-thought t-shirt design. All the participants enjoyed the event not only because of the freebies, but also it became a temporary venue of meeting individuals with the same line of interest.

After consuming their sumptuous dinner, the bloggers introduced themselves and talked something about their respective blogs. It was followed by a speech from a PAGCOR representative announcing their newest online marketing plan. Miss Janette Toral also made a brief introduction about the Digital Filipino Club’s members, history and as well as the latest club activities. Kevin Ray Chua and Winston, members of CBS also made special speeches on how they started their blogs and gave tips on how to increase blog popularity. There were also little talks about SEO and then followed by PAGCOR’s video presentation, a gaming event among bloggers, picture takings, and the awarding of raffle prizes.

Anyways, I met Beor and Galadriel of Istorya.Net during the event. I know them because I always hang out on their forum before. This is way back when my immaturish reflexes were still in control of my half-cooked brain. Beor is actually a very respectable and handsome man and her wife is really pretty in person. I actually have so much respect to them, and I look up to them like role models.

I guess I need to end this post here. It seems like I run out of ideas already. My lazy brain is already bitching me to finish the 4th book of the Twilight saga. So long penguins!
